Professor Abramo Galassi invented the first Faber vent hood in a small laboratory in Italy and now over 50 years later we are a world leader in ventilation. FABER DESIGN
The design of Faber range hoods uses the principle coined by the famous American architect Louis Henry Sullivan that, “form follows function”. Design is important, but if a range hood does not work properly or provide adequate ventilation for your kitchen, then our customers would not be satisfied.

The range hood was the last appliance in the kitchen to be influenced by design. Faber was the first company to bring innovation and design elements to the chimney hood (the Nova range hood), which set the bar for chimney wall range hoods over 20 years ago. Faber designs their high quality vent hood appliances knowing that a strong aesthetic impact can be made on the kitchen with ventilation. We know design is important in your decision process, so there are a large number of designs available to choose from depending on your taste. FABER QUALITY
Faber was the first company in the range hood sector to be ISO9001 certified - a manufacturing quality standard. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is the world’s leading and largest developer and publisher of international standards. Today, Faber is again among the leaders in the world and truly unique in the range hood sector, by becoming the first company in the world to receive the Integrated system of quality, safety and environmental concerns. The SGS Group presented this award to Faber for obtaining the ISO9001 (Quality), ISO14001 (Environmental concerns) and OHSAS 18001 (Safety) certifications.

Faber products are tested using strict guidelines. Faber has an in-house laboratory that tests for quality, safety, performance, and packaging stability. Faber hoods are tested and CFM levels are measured in accordance with the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) international standards.

The IEC is defined as:  “The worlds leading organization responsible for International Standards and conformity assessment for government, business and society for all electrical, electronic and related technologies.”
